The wine is made from the Danakharuli grape variety grown in the vineyards of Guramishvili's Marani, located in the village of Saguramo in the Kartli region. This rare and revived variety belongs to the group of Georgia’s unique indigenous grapes. At Guramishvili’s Marani, Danakharuli is being bottled for the first time as a standalone varietal wine. After the completion of fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 9 months. It has a pomegranate hue and is rich in ripe fruit and jam aromas, with a pleasantly balanced acidity. Recommended serving temperature: 16–18°C.
